Fishing Lodge Queen Charlotte Islands
Naden Lodge is located on the doorstep of British Columbia's best known and world renown salmon fishing grounds on the northern coast of Graham Island, the most northern island in the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii). Situated in the Village of Masset, the lodge is a 15 year old cedar post and beam resort on the waterfront overlooking the harbour.
The Fishing Lodge amenities include comfortable non-smoking rooms, high speed internet, pool table, satelite television, a spacious sitting room with a view, reading loft with views, a huge sundeck equipped with sun lounges, and a huge outdoor hot tub complete with remote control. There is also a gift shop and a dry room to ensure dry clothing for the next day's fishing. Also on the deck is a fish weigh and cleaning station where you can watch the guides expertly clean and prepare your day's catch.
Just prior to the 2010 season, we made a number of improvements to our fishing lodge. On the outside of the lodge we completely rebuilt and enlarged our deck facing out onto the harbour including adding better seating and an outdoor patio heater for those chilly nights. Inside we added a large new master bedroom with views of the harbour and renovated two washrooms. As a result, the lodge now features 6 bedrooms and a total sleeping capacity for 13 people. With a standard group of eight fisherman we are now able to offer private rooms to 4 of our guests and large shared double occupancy accomodations for the other 4. In addition, 3 of our rooms have Queen Sized beds to better accomodate the ever increasing number of couples who are making Naden Lodge their vacation destination.
