All ocean salmon fishing is fully guided by expert local guides. My guides are just as happy to teach you the fine art of downrigger fishing, trolling or cut plugging. Want to run your own downrigger and set up your own bait? No problem at Naden Lodge , we'll be happy to teach you. Fishing is done from our three fully equipped 28 'Boston Whaler Walkarounds or our 25' Boston Whaler Revenge. All boats have rain covers and on board washroom facilities. Equipped with quality electronics and the best of fishing gear. All boats are supplied with G. Loomis rods and Islander MR2 and MR3 reels for salmon fishing. We even have left handers rigged and ready to go. Everything you need for a memorable trip is on board. But if you want to bring that special rod and reel, please do so as it is welcomed. Naden Lodge supplies all the foul weather gear, light weight Wetskins and deck boots to keep the wind and rain out, but as with the fishing gear, if you want to bring your own, be our guest.

Each day of your trip we will try to fish 2 tide changes, where we fish through the tide change slacks, where the water will slow down and almost cease to move, this is when most species of fish feed. We usually like the high slack for Salmon and low slack for Halibut.

Measuring 25 feet from bow to stern and equipped with twin Mercury 150hp Opti-Max engines, makes this boat a dream to operate. With a top speed of over 50 mph, it gets to the fishing grounds fast. Electronics include a Lowrance LCX-15 fishfinder GPS unit combo, with a Icom VHF radio and CD Stereo.. Twin Scotty electric downriggers, with G.Loomis rods with either Islander MR2 or MR3 single action reels or Shimano Calcutta 400 Level wind reels. Fly fishing gear, for Coho can be onboard.

Our 3 - 25' Boston Whaler Walkarounds, with a 2 foot Whaler outboard drive extension, makes Naden lll, IV, and V measure out to 28'. Equipped with twin 200 hp. Mercury Black Max engines, they cruises at 30mph, with a top speed of just over 50mph. A 10hp. Mercury four-stroke for a kicker motor rounds out the power. They has onboard, a full stand up head, running water,and raw water washdown and plenty of fish storage.
